When it comes to control and operation of electric motors, Aros is leading the way. Today we can offer complete drive systems, including motor and drive electronics based on creative thinking early in the development stage. Our experienced engineers will provide expert competence in power electronics, motor design, motor control algorithm development, embedded software design, design for EMC and everything that is needed to fit your environment and application.
Drive Modules
Over the years, we've specialized in customized controllers, and thanks to pre-developed design solutions we can adapt a solution to every problem. Today, in fact, we have power modules for supply voltages, ranging from 24 VDC to 3x400 VAC and currents from one amp to several hundreds amps. Our application portfolio includes low-speed, multi-pole motor operation, eliminating the need for gear-boxes, as well as high-speed drives. The current torque handling ranges from 0.1 up to 60 Nm. In our testing facilities we can easily simulate the application of our customers using a variaty of motor test benches. Based on our basic expert competence in power electronics, we can also adapt switched mode power supply solutions, ranging from a few watts up to several kilo watts.
Open for communication
Our controllers are often well integrated with the customer application environment and have to be able to communicate with other system components. This is solved via RS485, CAN or other types of buses. Man-machine interfaces ranging from simple push-buttons to operator panels are also integrated. The integration of sensor interfaces enables both increased performance and lower system cost.
Adapted software
The least visible - but perhaps most important - component is the software. Today, our engineers can supply solutions for controlling asynchronous machines and permanent magnet machines with servo performance. Vector control with angular feedback or sensorless control is one alternative to V/f controllers, which is common for the lower effects. In addition, we have a product family where DC brushless technology is used.The software for the motor controller is adapted specifically to your requirements, allowing us to create a cost-effective product that can be integrated in the other mechanics.
